Survivante is a French word that means “survivor”, and it holds great meaning to our Founder, Keisha Hickson. After 25 years in the financial industry, this extraordinary woman was diagnosed with cancer. When the pressure of the situation became overwhelming, Keisha often turned to self-care rituals for comfort and soothing. When she washed her hair, she felt the stress go down the drain with the suds. When she treated herself to luxury hair and skin products, she felt infused with love and confidence. Keisha wants everyone to be able to experience these things, no matter what they may be dealing with in life, which is why she founded this company. Today, she is five years in remission – proof that any of us can overcome our struggles if we can just support ourselves along the way.
